Material study — Concept rendering
Philosophy
There is a difference between something that is merely expensive and something that is genuinely exceptional. We design for people who already know it.
- Materials
- Chosen for behaviour over time, not for the photograph. Metal, leather, stone and textile selected because they age well.
- Engineering
- Structure precedes surface. If a detail cannot be justified mechanically, it is removed rather than decorated.
- Proportion
- A system of measurement runs through everything we draw, from a clasp to a facade.
- Provenance
- We name the maker and the place when we can verify both, and say nothing when we cannot.
Discretion over display. Provenance over hype. Permanence over trend. We would rather be understood by few than explained to many.
